Videography
This collection includes Emily's newest experimentations with the world of Videography. Emily describes her videography style as mimicking her documentary style in her portrait photography as she values capturing the reality of her subjects rather than trying to get the "best" curated image.

Northern Attitude by Noah Kahan Music Video
Inspired by her favorite artist, Noah Kahan, and a trip home during the holidays, Emily created a music video to "Northern Attitude" capturing a visual representation of the theme of Kahan's breakthrough album Stick Season. In this video the main character, Emily's brother, wanders through the icy sticks of the midwest bringing to life her own interpretation of the feelings of loneliness and finding light and warmth within the bitter cold of winter encapsulated in Kahan's Music.

An Homage To The Traditions That Came Before, 2024
With the holidays approaching, Emily knew she wanted to find a way to document her family's Thanksgiving traditions. She felt that it was important to look back and remember how her family was was formed in a time where so many of the grandchildren were looking towards their own futures: graduations, college, and weddings. This piece was a way to commemorate her grandparent's lives while continuing to grow as a family and adopt new traditions along the way.

And The Streets Were Full Of Tourists And Locals, 2024
This piece is a culmination of images used in the And The Streets Were Full Of Tourists And Locals project, and is meant to highlight the reality of visiting NYC. In this video collage Emily experiments with how sound can affect the viewers ability to process an image. If you listen close enough you will hear individual noises accompanied by their corresponding image buried amongst the sounds of a very active city life such as pigeons, children laughing, and construction noises. Each sound was carefully layered according to how Emily experienced the image in real life.
